CU4Kids Wine Auction Raises over $1.6 Million for CMN Hospitals

The 18th annual Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction returned this holiday season, raising a record-breaking $1.6 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals on the West Coast. To celebrate this achievement, Redwood Credit Union CEO Brett Martinez and Patelco Credit Union CEO Erin Mendez presented a check for $331,000 to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals on behalf of the event’s executive committee.

The CU4Kids Wine Auction is the single largest fundraising event, generating more than $13 million since 2006 for CMN Hospitals, with every dollar benefiting local kids in our community. This year’s event raised more than $1 million for the ninth consecutive year.

Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit CMN, CU4Kids’ charity of choice. Credit unions are the 5th largest sponsor of CMN Hospitals. One hundred percent of every dollar donated by members of the credit union movement goes back to the local CMN Hospital.

We are incredibly grateful for CU4Kids’ continued support as it provides vital resources to our patients at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
