96.5 KOIT Cares for Kids Radiothon Raises over $209k for UCSF Kids!

On Tuesday November 28th, 96.5 KOIT FM held their 6th Annual KOIT Cares for Kids Radiothon broadcast raising money and awareness for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Coinciding with Giving Tuesday, the national day of giving celebration, 96.5 KOIT shared heartwarming patient stories and encouraged listeners to get in the holiday spirit by providing hope and healing for kids in the Bay Area.

This year, thanks to the generosity of our listeners and sponsor support from Aflac, Blaisdells, 1st NorCal Credit Union, and Granite Expo, 96.5 KOIT raised over $209,000 for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals! Over the last 6 years 96.5 KOIT has raised more than $900,000 for the hospital.

UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recognized throughout the nation as a leader in pediatric healthcare, known for innovation and compassionate care. Donations to the campaign through the end of the year will ensure that every patient treated at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals receives the lifesaving care they need.
