Walmart’s Round-Up Campaign Raises Over $204k for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals

Walmart and Sam’s Club raised critical funds to spark good and change kids’ health through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). Local communities across the Bay Area came together this year from June 12th — July 14th to raise more than $204,000 for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.

Walmart and Sam’s Club have supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1987, raising more than one billion dollars to change kids’ health and change the future. We could not be more grateful to staff and associates across the country who rallied behind this year’s campaign with enthusiasm and dedication. Every dollar raised goes to the local children’s hospital and makes a difference in the lives of children and their families in the local community.

Nearly 50% of families who end up at a children’s hospital, did not expect it when waking up that morning. The funds raised through partners like Walmart ensure kids can get the care they need when they need it, no matter life’s circumstances.

Changing kids’ health goes far beyond helping individual children and families, it’s also helps create ripple effects through continued research, preventive care, health and safety education and other support services helping build healthier communities today and tomorrow.

A special shoutout to the Walmart stores in San Leandro, Mountain View, Pleasanton, and Union City, as they each raised over $10,000 throughout the course of the campaign.

Thank you to our Bay Area Walmart and Sam’s Club partners — your unwavering support is instrumental in transforming children’s health and shaping the future of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals!
