UCSF Children’s Rehab Reunion
On Saturday, June 8th, over 150 families gathered for the Rehab Graduate Reunion at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. The event was a resounding success, bringing together rehab graduates and their families for a day filled with celebration, therapeutic activities, and community building. Highlights included dance movement therapy, horticultural therapy, and group drumming sessions, all aimed at promoting physical and emotional well-being. Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with various vendor booths that provided valuable resources and support. Heartfelt speeches celebrated the graduates’ achievements, emphasizing the importance of community and ongoing support.
UCSF’s Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation program provides comprehensive rehabilitative services to children with permanent and temporary disabilities, with the goal of helping each patient reach functional independence in self-care, mobility, communication, intellectual abilities and socialization.
A special thank you goes to ATI Restoration and Bay Area Credit Unions for their support of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, making events like this possible. We look forward to future reunions and continued community support to celebrate more success stories.
