Swim Across America Partners with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals

On October 5, hundreds of swimmers, including 18 Olympians, swam a mile and a half in San Francisco Bay to support UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals pediatric cancer survivorship program and the Swim Across America lab for pediatric cancer research at the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI). The swimmers raised over $600,000 to support our programs! And as an added treat, some of the Olympians visited our Oakland patients and shared their medals with our champion patients!
