San Francisco joins the Torch Relay thanks to #EverydayHeroes

This weekend, the Torch Relay will be held for the first time ever in San Francisco with 129 #everydayheroes participating to raise money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals! With over $17,500 raised of their $20,000 goal, team San Francisco is on track to make their inaugural year a tremendous success.

And it started with a few #everydayheroes showing their Spirit to Serve with their friends and colleagues. As his first project as the chair of Marriott’s NextGen Bay Area Business Council, Yoke Yong (Director of Human Resources , San Francisco Marriott Marquis) collaborated with NBABC co-chair, Nina Fagaraz of The Palace Hotel San Francisco and Jackie Volkart, General Manager of the St Regis San Francisco & Chair of Bay Area Business Council to bring this truly epic experience together. Over 29 teams from the community will be participating in the event this weekend, including teams for Marriott Hotels, Salesforce, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation and Enterprise Rent A Car.
