Pixar Premieres New Animated Movie at UCSF!

On Friday, June 16th, patients and families patients gathered in the lobby of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland to screen an exclusive premiere of Pixar’s latest film “Elemental”.

Given that many of the patients at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital have medical conditions that compromise their health, attending movie theatres poses a potential risk. Thanks to Pixar’s generous donation of a new mobile theatre for our Oakland hospital, a safe alternative was made possible!

This premiere was made extra special with a visit from Pixar animators, who taught patients how to draw and color some of their favorite characters.

Thank you, Pixar, for your continued partnership and support of local kids in our community! We are grateful for all that you do for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Together, we created a truly enchanting evening for our patients and families, and it would not have been possible without your support.
