ACE Day
On May 11th, Bay Area ACE owners, associates, and district managers joined the staff at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in celebrating ACE Hardware’s record-breaking fundraising efforts. The ACE Day event featured a volunteer opportunity with our Food Farmacy program, tour of the hospital, and a celebration highlighting the funds raised by Bay Area ACE stores in 2022!
25 ACE employees from 14 different Bay Area locations were in attendance helping distribute over 270 bags of groceries to patients and their families as part of the Food Farmacy program, making the day a great success.
Food insecurity is a hurdle to health for many of our patients, to combat this, we host free food distribution days throughout the year, serving countless of families in need.
Bay Area ACE retailers raised over $500,000 for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in 2022, making it the 6th highest fundraising market in the nation for the CMN & ACE Hardware partnership. ACE continues to be a strong supporter of the Hospital’s school program with annual funding and frequent donations to the ACE Building Blocks of Literacy Program — a free book distribution program for patients and their siblings.
Through their fundraising achievements, engagement in volunteer activities, and support for school and literacy programs, ACE Hardware continues to leave a lasting impact on the patients and families of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
