Thank you Costco Bay Area!

Costco Miracle Month 2021

This past May, associates from 29 Costco locations across the Bay Area, ranging from Ukiah to Gilroy, rallied their teams to fundraise for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) Campaign. As the #1 CMNH fundraiser in the Bay Area, Costco has raised millions of dollars for our hospitals in the last 27+ years.

Costco Bracket Competition

Inspired by March Madness, this year we held a bracket competition among our warehouses, pitting different locations with comparable fundraising numbers against each other to see which one would have the best year-over-year increase. The top 3 locations won incentive prizes, such as 10 dozen donuts, logo lanyards, and hats. The friendly competition created excitement and momentum for the campaign among the Costco associates and raised more funds for sick kids at UCSF.

A big thank you to all Costco associates and members for helping us raise over $1.2M and counting for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals this year! We are grateful for your generosity and continued partnership for kids in our community.

“Thanks to the generosity of Costco associates and members we are able to support critically ill children around the Bay Area and close the health equity gap. During these unprecedented times, Costco is helping provide relief for our vulnerable patients who are most at-risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. We greatly appreciate your commitment to the health and well-being of our patients.”
